Just when you thought publishing standards couldn’t get any lower, I have finally come out with my first book. “Leave It to Boomer: A Look at Life, Love and Parenthood by the Very Model of the Modern Middle-Age Man” has just been published by iUniverse.
The book is a collection of my Stamford Advocate humor columns. It’s also a crime against literature, which I’m actually very proud of. It’s available at http://www.amazon.com/ and http://www.barnesandnoble.com/ . More information is on my blog: http://www.jerryzezima.blogspot.com/ .
For many years my column was a standing feature in the Los Angeles Times-Washington Post News Service. Now it is distributed by McClatchy-Tribune.
I have won three humor-writing awards from NSNC, which I mention on the back cover of the book. NSNC also is mentioned in one of the book’s columns, a tribute to Art Buchwald, whom I nominated for the 2006 Ernie Pyle Lifetime Achievement Award.
