Tracy Beckerman won first place in Lifetime Television’s “The Balancing Act” Top Blogger contest. She was one of 20 bloggers who were selected to vie for the title of Top Blogger.
“The other participants were all incredible blogging forces of nature and I had been convinced that my chances of winning were slim to none” Beckerman said.
The columnist was having her nails done when she received a phone call telling her she had won and would be flown to Florida to be on the TV show. She got a funny column out of it.
Beckerman writes the nationally syndicated humor column, “Lost in Suburbia” and is author of “Rebel without a Minivan: Observations on life in the burbs.”
