Sarah Hunt, contest chair
Sarah Bricker Hunt is an award-winning Cincinnati-based freelance writer and editor.
Sarah’s work has been featured in Venue, Cincinnati Parent, Between the Lines, LEAD, PrideSource, Brain/Mother, and in various dark corners of the web. Her column “The Women Who Shaped Clermont County” appears in the Clermont Sun. Her editing work includes the highly-engaging task of editing the work of a well-known celebrity journalist.
Sarah founded Storybuzz in 2017. Storybuzz is a communications firm that partners with organizations and individuals to define, enhance, and amplify the message they want to share with the world.
Sarah was awarded a first place prize in the 2018 Erma Bombeck Writing Competition for her non-fiction essay “The Longest Road.”
Sarah has served as a judge for the national Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards contest since 2015 and was part of the judging team for the 2018 NSNC awards.
Sarah holds a degree in political science from Eastern Michigan University, where she served as Editor in Chief of the student newspaper, The Eastern Echo. Go, Eagles!
